Time flies...

When you aren't blogging like you're supposed to be blogging.  Woops!  I really have to get better at this blog thing.  Just looked at the calender after looking at the date of my last post and cannot believe that it has been almost a year to the day since my last post.  This will not happen anymore!  Here is a recent photo, just to get the gears in motion.

I'm back!

And it feels great!!  :)  I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to shoot a beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride a few weeks ago at the Marysville Opera House.  It was amazing!!

Technical difficulties aka Murphy's Law

So I have a wedding to shoot in one week, and what happens???  My computer has crashed on me.  Not completely, just enough to that the idea of using it is a tease.  It says, "come on, use me, surf the net, work on photos, it's all good!"  But then what happens?  It freezes within minutes, only to be reset, and all work to be restarted.... grrrr!!!   So now I must wait.  Computers aren't cheap, especially ones that perform well.  Thank heavens we're getting a tax return, but now I'm in that limbo of waiting.... it will come, and a new computer will be mine, but the waiting.... !!!

New Year, 2010

Ok, so it is time, now that January is almost over, to take action, and follow through with my New Year's resolution.  To create a blog.  It is my goal to post something every week!!  And to try to post more frequently, but let's be honest, that to me sounds like a REALLY quick way to burn myself out.

So let me start by introducing myself.  My name is Kim, I live in the pacific northwest and I LOVE photography.  I LOVE to meet new clients and capture those moments you only get once.  I shoot everything from portraits of all kinds, to events of all kinds!  And then every once in awhile I get to shoot just for myself, for fun, and that is where I find I grow the most.
